Montgrove’s School Captains, House Captains and Class Representatives gathered for an enjoyable and productive Leadership Orientation on Friday 25 February.
The School Captains introduced 2022’s topic: School Spirit, sharing the idea of Montgrove being a large, supportive family, in which each student can freely use their talents to contribute to the school, such as the Madrigal family in Disney’s Encanto.
During the afternoon, the representatives participated in an assortment of leadership demonstrations and games, such as a Leadership race and Korean whispers. This enabled the leaders to mix and socialise with other grades for the first time since lockdown. The leaders worked together, enjoying pizza and drinks and began to plan and share ideas for a successful and spirited new year. At the conclusion, each representative received a small leadership bag specially put together by the Captain and Vice-Captain.
