On Monday, the 23rd of May, 52 students from Year 3 to Year 11 represented Montgrove at the annual Hills Zone Cross Country Carnival, held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. The track was extremely muddy and slippery, which made for trying conditions, but we still had some outstanding results.
Congratulations to the following secondary students who placed in the top 10 and have progressed through to the AICES Cross Country Carnival: Merly M (Year 12), Clare A (Year 12), Somtochi I (Year 11), Mia H(Year 7), Bethany D (Year 7), Anna W (Year 7). and Julia S (Year 7). Special recognition to Somtochi I, who placed 1st in the 17 years age group race. Best of luck to all the students in their upcoming events. Our Secondary Team was also awarded the Shield for Best performing School of the day. Outstanding!
Congratulations to the following primary students who placed in the top 15 and have progressed through to the CIS Cross Country Carnival: Clara C (3 Green), Sophia Z (4 Green), Maryann I (5 Green), Chloe L (5 Green), Seraphia K (6 Green), Hanna R (6 Green) and Jemima G(6 Green). Well done to Maryann I who placed 3rd in the 11 years age group.
