On Tuesday 5th April 2022, students from Year 5 and Year 8 attended the annual Penrith RSL School ANZAC Service at the Penrith Paceway.  The weather was beautiful and it was wonderful to see representatives from all the schools in the Penrith area come together to honour our veterans and current service men and women.

The Year 8 class representatives, Jonita S and Francesca F laid a wreath on behalf of Montgrove College.

Additionally, on Tuesday 26th April 2022, Montgrove held an ANZAC Ceremony to honour our servicemen and women, both past and present for their service to our Country.

St Mary's RSL Sub branch Assistant Secretary Mrs Lesley Ayres and Sub branch Member Mr Steven Tolsher joined us for the service.  Mrs Ayres addressed the students and spoke about nurses in the Wars, particularly Lieutenant Colonel Vivian Bullwinkel, an Australian Army Nurse in the Second World War.

The students laid wreaths and tokens of remembrance as part of the service and the Choir sang beautifully throughout the Ceremony.
