On Wednesday the 1st of June, Merly M (Year 12), Somtochi I (Year 11), Mia H (Year 7), Julia S (Year 7), and Anna W (Year 7) braved the cold and competed at the Sydney International Equestrian Center in the AICES Cross Country Carnival, after performing exceptionally well at the Hills Zone competition. Each student displayed outstanding cardiorespiratory endurance and perseverance as they raced against approximately 60 students in each age group.
All the girls did an exceptional job and should be very proud of their efforts. A special congratulations to Somtochi I (Year 11) who placed 2nd in the 17 years girls division and has progressed through to the CIS Cross Country carnival next week.
