On Friday, 18th March, the Primary students from Kindergarten to Year 6 participated in a "Clean Up Montgrove" afternoon, in honour of Clean Up Australia Day. Some students wore gloves and worked hard picking up rubbish and returning items to their original owners or places. Others cleaned chairs and benches and ensured everything was neat, tidy and in place.
Many of our students expressed that the reward for their hard work was "seeing a beautiful, clean school which helps us feel like being here."
The students looked very happy and proud of themselves for the job they did to make Montgrove clean. Many of them expressed the fact that the reward for their hard work was "seeing a beautiful, clean school which helps us feel like being here."
Special mention must be given to the students from each year group who were awarded a prize for their outstanding efforts:
- Kindergarten: Reem and Xavier
- Year One: Pranav
- Year Two: MJ
- Year 3: Maria
- Year 4: Olivia
- Year 5: Anastasia
- Year 6: Mikah
The enthusiasm displayed and the hard work involved have motivated the Primary students to keep the school clean from now on!
